HD Digital TV is a must for Those Movie Nights in With Friends
I watched a High definition movie at a friend’s house the other night and was quite simply blown away. Having been to the cinema a lot in the last six months to watch 3D movies I just didn’t expect to get so enthusiastic about HD. But I did and a great night was had after the film had finished, as most of us there had not seen an HD movie before, we were talking for hours about the quality of the picture and the effect it had on our enjoyment.
So I came back to my house and turned on my normal TV, only to be disappointed by the resolution of the screen and the poor picture quality. I should point out that there was nothing wrong with my picture; it was just by comparison to the HD picture, I could see how poor the quality was.
So I started to look around for my available options. I am determined to get HD into my newly decorated sitting room. The first surprise I had was that my flat screen TV has HD capabilities. The second one was that my local area has Virgin available and the Virgin hd box is available for a one off fee with their extra-large TV package. I also rang Sky and found out that I could get free installation and then have access to a Sky hd box with certain Sky TV packages.
So I have now set myself the task of working out exactly what it is I want each month from my TV and where I can get it from in HD. Once I have finished this research I am going to buy myself a TV package that includes HD and invite all those friends round from the other night for a great night in my fantastic TV watching room.
