feature is specially useful when you use phone card to make a call.
You do not need to switch back and forth between two records. The

are displayed in the same screen.
- You can save up to 20 most used search

Launch:
You can select which list, Regular List (see Fig. 1b) or Detail list (Fig. 1a) should be launched when you run Fast AddressBook.
Sort
Order: There
are two sort orders to sort your addresses, Ascending and Descending.
When you select sorting records by "Frequency of use", you'd
better select "Descending" as sort order so that the recently
used and most used addresses will appear at the top of the list.
If you select "Ascending" as sort order, recently used and most
used addresses will appear at the bottom of the list.
Sort
By: You
can sort the records by Frequency of use, priority, Company,
Last name, First name, Display phone, Address, City, State,
Zip code and Country.
List
By: It
determines how addresses are displayed in Regular List view
(Fig. 1b). It works for Regular List only. Detail List view
(Fig. 1a) displays Last Name, First Name and Company in one
line, all of phone numbers, email addresses and Fax are displayed
in the following lines.
- Search: Input search string
in the lookup field (Fig. 2) to search. Search is case
sensitive, records contain the search string will be
displayed on the screen. You can specify which field (see Fig.
4a) is going to be searched or you can search all of fields by
selecting "All" from the popup list (see Fig. 4a).

For those most used search
key words, you can save them into key word list and select them
from a popup list (Fig. 4b) when you need to use them. The more
a key word in the list is used, the higher priority it has.
To
save a search key word, input the key word in the lookup
field, check to see if the search result is what you want, then
click "+" button to add the key word into key word list. There
are two cases:
One,
the key word you are going to add does not exist in the list. The
key word will be added into the list, its position is determined
by the priority of other key words in the list. If other key words
in the list are used frequently (have higher prority), then the
new key word will be added at the end part of the list. If other
key words have lower prority, then the new key word will be added
at the top part of the list.
Two,
if the key word already exist in the list, it will move toward top
of the list (it will have higher priority).
- Set Top Record: When you
make a phone call using calling card, you need dial connection
number first, and then dial the phone number. It is very inconvenient
if you use the original Address Book since you need switch back
and forth between two records. FastAddress solves this problem
for you. You can set a top record by tapping on the "Top"
button at Address View screen (see Fig. 5a). Then switch to Detail
list screen, this record will sit on the top and then you can
search the phone number you want to call (see Fig. 5b). You can
cancel top record by select menu item "Cancel Top Record"
(see Fig. 5c)
